Welcome to Ali Babas

Ali Babas Kitchen and Catering was opened in 1989 as a vending trailer (called Buggies) in uptown Athens. Owned and ran by the Sheikh family, the business has expanded several times, and currently includes three mobile vending trailers, 2 mobile van units, several mobile "Lemon Shake-Up" stands and a licensed commercial kitchen.

With a permanent location on West Union Street in Athens, and many Festivals scheduled throughout the year, Ali Babas is always looking to expand.

Ali Babas serves a mix of Middle Eastern and American cuisine. Besides the spit roasted Lamb/Beef and the Chicken Gyros that are the mainstay of the buggy menu, we also offer a large variety of both meat and vegetarian options, most made in our very own kitchen.
